Studying physics is one of the most challenging choices you can make for your A-levels. Thankfully, you are not alone, there are a vast number of free online resources you can take advantage of. Each resource has been tried and tested by your teachers and its’ usefulness evaluated.
Isaac Physics is commissioned by the University of Cambridge and aims to take students from competent to exceptional. It provides video walkthroughs of all questions though not always to conclusion, their tagline is “You figure it out” for a reason.
Despite the name Physics and Maths tutor contains resources for many subjects. The website contains, sorted by topic, past paper questions and mark schemes dating back many many years. By far one of the most valuable tools to revision is practising PPQs and then self-marking them. For this reason.
Khan Academy is a tried and tested free online library of video lessons, written tutorials and questions across any number of subjects. It differs to Isaac Physics by having video lessons on all topics. If you just need to hear it explained again, this is excellent.
